ASOCIO PIKOM DIGITAL SUMMIT 2019
We are thrilled to announce that ASOCIO-PIKOM Digital Summit 2019 will be held in Kuala Lumpur on 11 – 13 November 2019. The ASOCIO Digital Summit is annual event hosted among ASOCIO’s 24 member economies. Last year, the event was held in Tokyo, Japan, where more than 500 senior leaders from the technology industry in the Asia Pacific convened for their annual summit.
PIKOM is proud to have won the rights to host the event this year. The theme this year is "Defining the Future" and the Summit will be packed with powerful and renowned local and regional speakers and panelists with topics like Future of Works - Age of Extinctions, Rise of the Machines! With the advancement of technologies, the way businesses, governments and consumers interact will change.
To help understand what is happening and how we can be part of this exciting times, we have lined up an action-packed agenda that will include conversations around Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Analytics, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Human Capital, Entrepreneurship and Women in Tech. We are also planning to have a ministerial dialogue that will include ICT ministers and senior policy makers from the region.
Concurrent to the summit, there will also be an exhibition and business matching.

Anne Abraham currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Media Prima Berhad and Metrod Holdings Berhad. She is also Chairperson for Board of Media Prima Digital Sdn. Bhd., the digital subsidiary of Media Prima Berhad and an Independent Non- Executive director of NSTP Berhad, also a Media Prima Berhad subsidiary.
Her current role as Chair of LeadWomen, an MSC status consultancy company she founded in late 2011, is focused on developing and advancing women leaders, in line with the Malaysian government’s aspirational target of 30% women on boards. In this capacity she sets the strategy, direction, framework and content for women leadership development. Anne is recognized as a thought leader in gender diversity and inclusion, both locally and regionally. Her objective of getting more women into the boardrooms is to encourage diversity of thought and perspectives which has proven by research to improve innovation, sustainability and governance of organizations, thus building a stronger corporate Malaysia. In the course of her corporate career, Anne has garnered over 20 years of experience in several leadership positions in the fields of sales, marketing, alliances and operations in global technology companies. Prior to setting up LeadWomen, she was the Country Manager of SAP Malaysia and then appointed as Managing Director Cisco Malaysia, two of the largest global technology companies in their own specialisation.
In a non-business capacity, Anne is a board director for Protect & Save the Children, a non- profit organization focused on Child Protection and this year 2019, been appointed as a board trustee for the Tun Fatimah Hashim Women in Leadership UKM.
Gina Wong is SVP & Head of Sales and Customer Success at ST Telemedia-LEAP since April 2018. In this role, she leads high performing Sales & Customer Success teams to drive transformational customer outcomes.
One of few women leaders with deep cloud and innovation expertise, Gina has been instrumental in helping large enterprises adopt emerging technologies, such as spearheading the cloud journey for the world's #1 digital bank. Gina continues to inspire and transform people and businesses through reinvention and outthinking. Prior to ST Telemedia, Gina has held senior leadership positions at IBM, Amazon Web Services, Cisco and Avaya. Her flair and experience in both IT and Business roles, coupled with knowledge across a broad portfolio of technology products, solutions and services enable her to be a pivotal Trusted Advisor to many CXOs.

Sue Lynn joined KPMG in 2005 and has experience in both Corporate Income Tax and Indirect Tax. She advises on Malaysian tax issues and has assisted numerous leading overseas and locally headquartered multinationals. She has also undertaken a secondment in KPMG ASPAC in Singapore.
For Corporate Income Tax, her experience includes Malaysian tax advisory and tax planning work in mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions (inbound and outbound).
For Indirect Tax, Sue Lynn’s experience includes assisting her clients on the Sales Tax and Service Tax (SST) as well as Goods and Services Tax (GST) implementation, advisory, compliance and health check projects. Sue Lynn is also experienced in advising clients on the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering requirements.
Her clients come from a diverse range of industries such as service providers, information technology providers, retail, financial services, advertising, manufacturing, property and construction. She also advised overseas clients intending to invest in Malaysia.

Raymond is the Founder and CEO of Daythree Business Services, an award-winning business process management company specialising in optimising CX through cutting-edge technology. He specializes in providing strategic management direction, particularly in the field of digital transformation strategy and management. Amongst his many key achievements, Raymond managed one of the largest healthcare informatics implementations in Malaysia and played key role in realizing the IT Outsourcing agenda of a major state government in Malaysia.
Having originated from a corporate finance background, Raymond has strong working and practical knowledge in finance and accounting. He holds a Master of Business Administration majoring in Strategy & Planning and is the author of several articles/research papers. He was selected by peers in the industry as ‘Best Thought Leader 2017’ – an award reserved for recognising leadership aimed at external positioning of the individual’s competencies in delivering value. DAVID LAI is an Executive Director at BDO Tax Services Sdn Bhd and is the Head of BDO’s Tax Advisory function. He has over 28 years of work experience in professional practice and was CFO of a multi-national commercial group. He is a Council Member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and Chairman of the Institute's Indirect Tax Technical Committee. He is also a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). David expertise is in tax advisory work for local and multi-national companies in various sectors, including financial, property, leisure, trading, and manufacturing sectors. David has extensive tax experience in cross border transactions, corporate restructuring, international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and group financing.
